Drawing, masking fluid over figures, first washes of sky with warm light from the left and warm haze near the horizon

Distant hills dropped into wet sky, followed by middle ground hill in drying sky wash

Lemony yellow in the foreground merges with raw sienna (duller yellow) in the distance.  Warm and cool darks dropped in whilst wet.

Cerulean, Light Red, Crimson, Burnt Sienna mixtures create colourful greys for shadowed building and road.

Darks added for figures, shadows, clutter of light poles, fence, building details.  Figures and buildings painted broadly in keeping with the rest of the painting. Leave painting and look at later.

Beefed up roof colours to the left, few more dabs to lead eye into composition.  Cropped the painting to emphasise the irrigated paddock behind the building.  Matted and signed - 'Old Butter Factory Wolumla'
